Plain language where possible. By creating an account or buying a course you agree to these terms.

1. Who you are contracting with
These terms are between you and SHFTPLAY Technologies (“we”, “us”). They cover the SHFTPLAY mobile app and this website.
2. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep access to that number secure — anyone who can receive your codes can reach your account. You must be at least 13 to hold an account. One account is for one person; do not share credentials.
If you lose access to the phone number on your account, contact us and we will verify you by other means. We may refuse where we cannot establish ownership with confidence.
3. What you are buying
A paid plan grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the course content for that plan, for as long as we operate the service. It is a one-time payment with no expiry, and content added to a course you own is included at no further cost.
You are buying access, not the content itself. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish or use the cards to train a machine learning model.
4. Payment
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include GST. Payment is taken on this website through our payment provider. The app contains no purchasing of any kind. Access unlocks once the payment is confirmed; if you have paid and the content has not unlocked within a few minutes, email us and we will fix it manually.
5. Refunds
Set out in full in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download or mirror the content.
- Do not use another person's account or resell access to yours.
- Do not submit unlawful or abusive content through feedback.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is not deliberate we will warn you first.
7. The content is education, not advice
SHFTPLAY courses are general educational material. They are not professional, legal, financial or career advice, and we do not promise any particular outcome — including employment — from completing a course.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue a course you have paid for, we will give you notice and a pro-rata refund.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
